Win a film workshop and meet ParalympicsGB athletes!

Get Set to be a Paralympic Champion is an exciting new competition which encourages young people to shine a spotlight on the Paralympic Movement. With under 500 days to go until the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, this is the perfect time to get involved!

Get Set to be a Paralympic Champion empowers young people across the UK to challenge their own and their communities’ perceptions of disabled people by becoming citizen journalists and showcasing the extraordinary, real-life achievements of a disabled person or disabled people.

We’ve created a range of free and flexible cross-curricular resources to support your pupils in researching, structuring and writing powerful, engaging stories.

It’s really easy to take part - all you need to do is upload your pupils’ writing, photos, drawings or short films to the Get Set website.

Your school could win a workshop to make a short film inspired by the Paralympic Movement where pupils and teachers will get to meet ParalympicsGB athletes!

The competition is open now and runs to summer 2016. Winning entries will be selected at regular intervals and submissions will remain eligible to win for the duration of the competition. Make sure you get your entries in early for the best chance to win!

We look forward to receiving your entries!
