Find out about edtech, get involved and make a difference
Are you passionate about making a difference with educational technology? Do you have an ed tech idea that will enhance the learning experience of your students? Then ed-invent.com could be for you! OCR and Media Taylor are running a series offree eventsto encourage tutors and teachers to think differently about their role in helping to create educational technology.
ed-invent gives you an introduction to the world of educational technology. Learn about some amazing educators that have also become successful edtech entrepreneurs and work in groups to develop your own edtech idea. Get experience pitching and then present with your group to the judges who will select a winner for each event.
The dates for the events:
- Manchester: 8-10 October
- Birmingham: 5-7 November
- London: 3-6 December

All of the winners from the autumn events will spend five days working on their ideas at one of two residential events to be held in Cambridge in the spring term. Supported by a team of ed tech entrepreneurs and OCR staff, they will compete to win £2,500 in prize money plus a host of support to help take their idea forward.
